Carolina Connections, Inc. is a full service background screening firm focusing on areas of employment and volunteer screening nationwide.
BLOC - Uptown member LeeAnn Shattuck and Women’s Automotive Solutions, a unique car buying service dedicated to helping women through the entire car selection and buying process, enabling them to save hundreds to thousands of dollars on a new or pre-owned vehicle. The 100% woman-owned company was named one of “Most Innovative” companies, over thousands of home-based businesses nationwide.

BLOC - Ballantyne member Loretta Cozart, with CC Communications, Inc. has earned two awards in the distinguished 2011 international MarCom Awards competition. CC Communications won a Gold Award for the Privacy Data Systems website at PrivacyDataSystems.com. Privacy Data Systems is a leading provider of email encryption solutions and secure messaging software. CC Communications was also recognized with an Honorable Mention for the Barloworld Handling website at BarloworldHandling.com. Barloworld Handling is a global leader in the field of total integrated material handling solutions.
MarCom Gold and Honorable Mention Awards are presented only to those entries that meet or exceed high standards of excellence and serve as benchmarks for the Web Design industry. PrivacyDataSystems.com and BarloworldHandling.com were selected from a field including over 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries. The MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, an international organization consisting of several thousand creative professionals.
