John is originally from the Boston, Massachusetts area.  He attended Tulane University in New Orleans and then spent 17 years working in the field of Advanced Water Treatment Equipment manufacturing, which included stints in Los Angeles, Buffalo, Atlanta, Bielefeld, Germany, Manchester, England and New Jersey before his last relocation, to Charlotte, in 2002. In 2007, John decided to open a brewery in Charlotte, North Carolina and subsequently founded The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery. OMB began selling beer in March 2009.

Please join your friends from the Business Leaders of Charlotte on the third Tuesday of every month minus December and a short summer hiatus.
