MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP LUNCHEONSBLOC has monthly luncheon meetings for members and prospective members. At this gathering, attendees can socialize and share a variety of professional and personal updates. The Chapter lunches meet the 2nd Week during the month and are held from 11:45am to 1pm. | MONTHLY AFTER HOURSThe Networking After Hours occurs on the last Wednesday of each month at Slate Billiards, which begins promptly at 5:30 and lasts until 7:30. EVERYONE is welcome to attend this event - complimentary for members and there is a nominal charge for non-members. This is Charlotte's best networking event for professionals who build business through relationships. BLOC's signature event brings together the members from all of the FOUR chapters, as well as their guests. |
THIRD TUESDAY TOPICSPlease join your friends from the Business Leaders of Charlotte on the third Tuesday of every month, minus December and a short summer hiatus, at Covenant Presbyterian Church for our Third Tuesday Topics Speaker Series. You will enjoy local leaders of the Charlotte community and have the opportunity to ask direct questions. Come on out to network, eat lunch and listen to some of Charlotte's people of impact. |

| COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENTBLOC members recognize and value that giving back to the community is an important part of any company's success. We host several outreach opportunities for our members to participate in and our Community Involvement Team is comprised of several BLOC members that oversee these initiatives. Our spring CIC event is the Annual BLOC Charity Golf Classic to raise money for a member selected local charity and our winter CIC event, BLOC-N-BOWL, raises funds to adopt local families for the holidays and raise money for another member selected local charity. These are 2 great opportunities to make a difference in the Charlotte community and give back to some great causes in the process! |
QUARTERLY MEMBER SOCIALSThere are 4 member socials planned every year, which is a great way to meet members from other chapters and build relationships in a fun and social environment.
