Our winter Community Involvement opportunity marks the 19th consecutive year that BLOC has committed to adopt local families for the holidays and the 16th year that this effort has been anchored by our bowling event!
This year, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, things will be slightly different. You have a choice to Bowl in person (which we are limited to 12 teams, so first come first serve) or to register as a 'Virtual Team", where you and/or your team help to raise money virtually leading up to the event, but NOT bowl in person at the event. Either way you will be supporting a family that is in need.

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED IN BLOC-N-BOWL:
BLOC-N-BOWL BOWLING EVENT
For six weeks leading up to BLOC 'n bowl, teams of four will solicit pledges from friends, family and colleagues that will give to those less fortunate so that we can adopt & help local families.
If you choose to “Bowl” Virtually you can solicit pledges from your friends, family and colleagues just like you would if bowling in person. But, you will turn in all your donations online or the day of the Bowling Event between 3 and 3:30. If your team raised over $250.00 by December 1st, all members of your team with be given a BLOC-n-Bowl T-shirt for participation.
The signature event is a bowling tournament at Park 10 lanes on a Saturday in December, where all teams bring their donations, bowl and enjoy food and prizes.

The shopping team will be given family profiles, names, ages, sizes, wish lists and needs lists so we can fulfill as much as possible with our donated funds.
We will assemble volunteers at a specified location with all of the necessary equipment and supplies (wrapping paper, tape, ribbons, tags, food and spirits....and of course some tunes)! This is always a ton of fun and the more the help the better!
